Gusto has benefits and payroll integrated, which is great both from an employer and employee standpoint. As the employer, we can see all payroll and deduction data in one place, which is nice from a data flow perspective, and also it helps to have a single point of contact if we need to have anything changed or looked into. From an employee perspective, they have one, simple, intuitive place to go for all of their needs.

The process of setting up Benefits within Gusto was great from start to finish – there was a baseline automated enrollment flow, supported by access to a benefits specialist who helped us pick the right plan for our small company context. Actual administration of the plan is very simple and easy to use from an administration and employee standpoint – a few clicks gets you all the necessary information and confirms enrollment.

Renewal / open enrollment periods are brought to our attention very early on. If we make no plan changes, everything continues without a hitch. If we do make plan changes, Gusto manages the transition without our having to do anything. The peace of mind that comes from having a system that handles everything is awesome, and enables us to focus on other parts of our business.

Having our benefits with Gusto means we don’t have to go figure everything out on yet another website with yet another set of user accounts, permissions, confirmations, forms, etc. Gusto makes everything extremely easy with way less questions needing to be asked and answered because Gusto (A) eliminates a ton of up front questions, like “Where do I even start?” and (B) has all the other common questions laid out and answered.

Gusto benefits is simple, easy, and very user friendly. I switched to ADP at the beginning of the year for about 2 weeks and came back to Gusto because it was a NIGHTMARE having to deal with physical old school style paperwork when setting up benefits and everything else. Gusto makes it easy and quick to choose the plans and easy for the employee. This is a HUGE reason why I offer benefits through Gusto. Also, it’s been easy to look at my benefits online and have quick access without having to go to the health care website.

Gusto benefits provides a knowledgeable staff that is not the insurance company which is great backup for my small business. Often I don’t have the answer for my employees and Gusto is there to help.
