Gusto benefits has better coverage at a much better cost. Before Gusto, I had to find health insurance options on the open market, which was expensive, as well as the plans being subpar. With Gusto, I am able to offer much better insurance options, which helps me retain employees, as well as gives me the confidence to offer this benefit to future employees.

Offering benefits to our employees was something that we needed to handle. Without benefits, we were seeing a bigger staff turnover and were having difficulty in hiring strong candidates for new positions. As a small business, navigating the benefits process is a minefield and long winded, where we could have easily made wrong and costly decisions. Gusto gave us a complete solution for this allowing us access to great benefits packages at rates that we could afford without having to bounce through multiple different brokers.
We are a small company, stretched thin and time poor. Not having to worry about managing payroll and the benefits packages offered to our team is a huge weight that we do no have to carry due to how simple Gusto makes this.

Gusto benefits is comparable to a group rate at a large company with only a few employees enrolled and an overall small staff. Offering my staff health insurance was a business goal, and I’m not sure I would even have been able to achieve that goal without a platform like Gusto. I feel more at ease knowing my staff is not financially vulnerable to a health related issue.

Gusto benefits has saved me countless hours that I now spend on activities more beneficial to the company. I love not having to deal with multiple parties for our insurance needs. Everything is seamlessly integrated in Gusto and I don’t need to worry about keeping the list updated with the insurance provider as we add or let go of our employees.

With our employee information already in Gusto for payroll, the integration allowing that information to sync over to benefits administration is seamless for both employees and management. Gusto has allowed our business to standardize a complex process while requiring minimal resources and providing a user experience as or more intuitive as any software platform we use throughout our organization. Gusto has allowed us to offer the payroll and benefit advantages of a much larger organization without the requirement to carry as large of a management overhead as larger organizations. Our ability to continue to offer these services while also managing them well is part of the reason we’ve been able to grow as desired.

Gusto saves me time and money with everything being automated, like employee on-boarding. Gusto offers reports that are easy to understand. Gusto was extremely helpful during COVID shutdown in helping me understand my options and how I can help employees. They also provided easy to understand and easy to generate information on how to obtain the funding needed to keep my business afloat during the COVID shutdown.
