We built an onboarding board that really lays out everything that a new-hire needs to complete and it has been a huge hit. New employees say that it really helps them visually see that they are on track and we are able to provide plenty of information, links, attachments, etc to make sure they have the tools to be successful.

Team buy-in was a big thing for us, being a smaller company everyone was managing their projects a slightly different way, but because Trello is so seamless and easy to use we were able to get “stuck-in-their-ways” team members to transition their workflow to trello which has made overall communication and workflow MUCH better.

I use Trello for our web team to show the flow from backlog item to completed feature. The team largely self-manages this flow because I really don’t care for Trello, but the team was using this tool before I joined. So I use this more to check in on the status of various items for customers and also add items to the web team’s backlog.

We use Trello at the management and legal level of admin to track third party contracts. We use the fields for important dates such as renewal deadlines, rate increases etc., and we use the date function for reminders of such dates. We also use Trello for manager and employee meetings and employee progress and project tracking.

We have a Trello board for our front desk student staff, giving them the info they need to answer questions, and giving them projects to do that are daily, weekly, monthly etc. Our social media intern has a Trello board, which maps out the themes of the weeks of our academic calendar. And for our staff, everyone loves Trello, using it for our own project management and to-do lists.

The ease of use and intuitive yet also engaging design have been a real differentiator compared to other tools, especially as these aspects were all very meaningful for our team. The functionality and features of Trello also suit our needs and style of work, when compared with other tools.

We manage all design projects for our remote team of designers across the country in Trello. In addition to managing workflow, our team also uses Trello for source-of-truth materials to support our designers. Our web team and some Marketing teams also use Trello to manage their projects.

Our Customer Operations and Program Management teams run entirely off Trello. We intake requests via Google Forms, triage them within a Trello board, and then use Google Docs primarily to build actual project documents.

Our insights & Analytics team also uses Trello to triage incoming data requests and collaborate with our Program Management team on active projects.

We almost exclusively use Trello for tracking video productions as they move through their several tasks… writing, editing, art direction, audio, video production, reviews, and more. We can identify where work is proceeding easily or with difficulty. Individuals can see observe their backlog of tasks.

We use Trello as our main product for the production in our creative team. We use it to hold our assets, manage our workflow for video production, and to store our systems and videos. We also use it to connect with the customer, manage our invoices and finances, track our work hours, and track our inventory.
