Before our company had decided to provide Mural to all engineers, our team of seven people was just trying it out. That was at the start of the pandemic and we were about to run an inception so we needed to have a remote facilitation tool. Our company’s trial was running out but we weren’t ready to make a budget decision because we had to account for thousands of engineers. Due to the circumstances, we requested an extension on the trial period by reaching out to Mural. It took only a few minutes to get to try Mural for a bit longer, which was cool and helped us get over two very confusing weeks where we had a lot of workshops to run and we had just been sent to work from home.
Eventually, Thoughtworks decided to go with Mural as their solution globally, but that initial nice gesture left an impression on us. I don’t know who made the decision to allow extensions of the trial period during COVID but it made a huge difference. Many thanks from our team.
