We use LEM to collect logs in a central location for PCI. Currently we are using it to track down where people are getting their accounts locked out from so we can find a virus. We also use it to help educate people on what they did wrong when they make an incorrect change to our network equipment.
Yes, because once it is setup and sized correctly it is pretty easy to use. The support for it is also really good. I also like the thwack website.
