Recently, Acutane was accidentally put on a patient’s med list and through MedHx and the patient interview we discovered that the patient was not taking it, so we discontinued it from thelist.

I check MedHx for each new admit if orders come through before I have time to do the med rec to ensure the inpatient orders match the Medhx list. I use MedHx list for every med rec I do and in many situations it has helped the patient with recalling information as I have the drug, dose, sig all right there as well as the physician prescribing.
