Qlik has moved us from retyping data and information into a spreadsheet that has tracked performance over 2-3 years. We now have access to data about 10-15 days old (we have to close month-end books). Previously, we were 2 months ahead of the data reports. We will now move to be about 3 days ahead of the report data, which is acceptable in our business.
Once the initial investment has been made it is fairly easy to extend the reporting and use of data sources.
The initial investment in time was about 6 months, and end users are already lining up new projects.
