Qlik Customer Review

4/5 Stars

Describe the operational impact that Qlik has had or is expected to have on your organization and its Big Data initiatives or projects:

The scope of the variety of the data sources that the business requires to blend and produce analytics from has increased dramatically in the last few years.
Qlik allows more direct access to analytics to our C-level and managerial stakeholders to empower that user group to action analytical activities on their own. The number of very large datasets is rapidly increasing, and without Qlik as a front-end, we would not have the rapid-to-use visualization tools that the business needs to be agile in today’s competitive market.
The ROI is in the intangibles like in the reduced time to get analytic models in place, the new insights being uncovered from the data and the increased data proficiency that the overall user community gets from using a user-friendly application like Qlik.

Would you recommend Qlik for Big Data analytics?

The innovation that Qlik is currently exhibiting in the release of new features and in the cross-compatibility (e.g. cloud versus on-premise) and SDK capabilities for those at the advanced end of the analytics development scale seem to be far more advanced than those of the competitors. This will position Qlik to be at the forefront when deciding on which tools to implement in the Enterprise when there are so many competing tools to choose from.
