The in-person classes were important because they made us familiar with the basic concepts and steps needed to perform certain tasks. Qlik Continuous Classroom is a good place to reference. We also had a consultant who helped us with setup and explained the “why”, not just the “how to” and best practices.
The training materials are good and we continue to reference them. There’s lots of information on the website. Having the consultant also helped us get started.
