With QlikView, we were able to fully integrate our business pipeline, from acquisition to delivery, integrating the information of many systems, from transaction software, MIS, Automation software, to Raster Image Software and Manufacturing machinery. It has given us crucial on-the-fly insights into our Sales pipeline, our manufacturing process, and even various IT processes.
Ease of use. Having one tool that does data extraction, transformation and analysis that isn’t intimidating to start using from the most humble data sets with a personal license, but is able to scale up to an implementation encompassing the whole company. QlikView is the Excel of BI. It’s the PHP of BI. Easy to get started with, with enough functionality lurking at the deeper levels for more advanced use. It’s geared towards non-programmers with scripting skills, where other tools either lose functionality because they are too watered down, or where the tool is too complex to get started on a slow afternoon.
