MOVEit has made file transfers very easy for us. We switched from CuteFTP that wasn’t meant to be used the way it was implemented in our environment and started transitioning those tasks into MOVEit Automation. It tooks a few months to get things switched over because of a lack of documentation for the CuteFTP jobs but once we had everything switched over to MOVEit it made updating those tasks very easy. With the new environment we are working on MOVEit is a core piece in transferring files between servers, archiving files, modifying files so users don’t have to manually make the changes before or after the files are transferred. Every week we get a request for a new task or a request to modify an existing task based on changes that are consistently happening. We are able to setup/modify those tasks in a matter of minutes. There hasn’t been a task yet that we have not been able to get setup in MOVEit.
