We use Polaris for our circulation system and public catalog. It also generates great reports that we use locally and for the state annual reports.
Of course, for all the reasons mentioned. We can’t imagine going with another system. We’ve had Polaris for nearly 20 years.

We use it for everything except managing actual funds. We use our accounting system for that. We are a single location utilizing circulation, acquisitions, cataloging, and serials. Patrons love the Power PAC.
We’ve always had good experiences with Polaris. It’s a very robust product and offers many options for customizing, so it works with your workflow, rather than having your workflow dictated by your ILS.

We are a special library housed inside an art museum. I love that I am able to set up a self-checkout station for my curatorial team who are in and out of this space at all odd hours of the day! We are also able to continue to grow our partnership with the University of Arkansas via our shared catalogs on Sierra.
