Mostly for functional regression testing. Common activities have been automated & data-driven testing to provide wide-ranging combinations of data. Also to sanity test each new build.

Greater functional & regression testing coverage is improving the quality of the delivered product, resulting in fewer post deployment defects. This, in turn, is enabling the team to detect defects earlier in the SDLC as regression test cycles are becoming shorter.

We use Ranorex Studio to automate our desktop application. We use both UI object recognition and code scripts. It is critically important for us to detect a text box in the UI and use it in code scripts. Ranorex Studio provides our needs. Additionally, we need to calculate the response time of our program and when we calculate it manually, there is some error in calculation. With the C# support of Ranorex Studio, we can calculate response time correctly. From now on, we want to use Ranorex Studio in more steps and other applications.

After using Ranorex Studio, our testing is so much faster and the cost of workmanship is cheaper. We can test our program continuously and this allows us to develop a more stable and reliable application with lower cost.
