It is one of the best complete reviews on key topics in Internal Medicine. Better than any textbook of medicine. Better than one NEJM review. Often it is everything you need to know on a specific topic. I wish they were monthly!!
Neurologic Clinics Customer Review
5/5 Stars
Take a quick view of the topic that interests first, then do an in-depth reading highlight on the side with my marker pen. Also, review the reference at the end it is more than a Seminar, more close to a symposium or mini-conference.
It is a fantastic idea, particularly with case vignette. Useful for me as a clinician.
Dermatologic Clinics Customer Satisfaction Rating
A user of Dermatologic Clinics would be very likely to recommend for this reason:
It has excellent reviews of specific topics – this gives a quick way to get up to date on a topic. In the past, I used “Advances in Dermatology” – for the same reason. It was an excellent publication and I still refer to past issues. Fortunately, Dermatologic Clinics has taken its place. Whenever I review a topic I go to “Derm Clinics” first; everything else is compared to it! Derm Clinics is very readable, more so than J Am Academy of Dermatology. That’s because it is succinct, not overburdened with detail, and summarizes the main points clearly.
