We leverage HPE OneView primarily for HPE chassis provisioning and configuration including blades, virtual connects, and SAN switches. It also automates firmware updates to all components and reports to us when updates are needed.
Firmware updates are always a sticky point with IT staff. It is a tedious task with minimal tangible benefits. This automated the process and was the first tool that did it successfully in my experience.
