The Position

As our Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing and sales infrastructure across the company in support of demand generation and sales operations. The successful candidate will focus on creating, improving and implementing all processes and systems related to marketing operations and sales productivity.

The Marketing Operations Manager must be passionate about consistently refining, improving and advancing marketing and sales operations by driving best practices in marketing automation and sales operations.

You will be responsible for growing our prospect database, sourcing key contacts, structuring our prospect universe for sales account ownership, managing workflows and all aspects of sales operations in Salesforce. In addition, you will work to create and execute a demand generation strategy, which includes outbound marketing campaigns, webinars, content creation etc.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is highly detailed oriented and naturally thinks about how to automate or improve business processes He or she should be technically proficient with Salesforce CRM and have the ability to systematize/automate business processes in Salesforce. In addition, he or she should be able to create and execute a demand generation strategy that includes outbound marketing campaigns and webinars invitations, and content offers.


  • Grow and Improve Our Database – Create and implement plans to ensure that we continually source new accounts and contacts for demand generation campaigns. Distribute new contacts and accounts to sales on a timely basis.
  • Define and Implement New Analytics and Processes – Work with Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, and Executive Management to systematize all business processes in Salesforce. Ensure we measure all critical business functions adequately.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Create copy and use our marketing automation system to manage our email marketing campaigns to both prospects and customers
  • Manage all marketing and sales infrastructure, including sales tools and marketing automation system.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years at a Business-to-Business organization in sales or marketing operations
  • Proficient with Salesforce and a marketing automation system (Pardot preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • BA/BS degree

Compensation Plan

We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary and a quarterly incentive plan based on benchmarks around retention and upsell. We also offer comprehensive health and dental insurance, generous PTO, and a 401K plan with matching. Our offices are located in Emeryville, which is a quick counter-commute from SF.
