The Position

As an Account Executive, you will generate new business in both existing accounts and new markets with a focus on IT. You will also be responsible for forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement.

NOTE: This is not the right job for most traditional salespeople. We have a very different way of selling and that will make it hard for the traditional sales professional to excel.

  • Meeting and exceeding pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Researching high profile companies and conducting outreach to CEO, CMO, and other marketing executives
  • Experienced in a solution approach to selling and adept at helping customers discover value
  • Prioritizing opportunities and applying appropriate resources
  • Discipline in documenting various details per our sales template in our CRM

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Business-to-Business organization in an Inside Sales Development or Inside Sales role
  • Excellent instincts for conversing with technology executives and ability to think on the fly
  • Strong work ethic – can commit to a 6-month new hire training program and possess the desire to master the art of selling.
  • Fluency in English along with excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • BA/BS degree is preferred

TechValidate is located a quick counter-commute from San Francisco. Our offices are located in a vibrant neighborhood of Emeryville ( 5900 Hollis Street ), and it is easily accessible via BART and the Emery Go-Round, a free shuttle that stops directly in front of TechValidate.
