About Virtual Iron

Virtual Iron is a server virtualization and virtual infrastructure management solution that leverages the advantages of industry standards and open source economics. Virtual Iron platform is comprised of three components. The Virtual Iron hypervisor provides the foundation for Virtual Iron. It fully leverages the latest hardware-assisted virtualization capabilities to create an abstraction layer between physical hardware and virtual resources. Virtualization services provide advanced capabilities on top of the hypervisor, including server partitioning and virtual infrastructure creation. VI Center provides an easy-to-use enterprise-class capability to create, administer and manage the complete lifecycle of virtual machines including creation, starting, stopping, rebooting, cloning and uninstalling.
