HDPS /VMWare/AMS SAN provide unparalleled redundancy and ease of deployment of servers. They also have integrated central management, which was simply impossible years ago.

Having worked in IT for over 15 years this is the first technology I’ve seen that is a “real” game changer.

HDS arrays have allowed us to deliver the necessary storage with the appropriate performance level to run the majority of our windows servers on virtual infrastructure.

Ease of migrations and virtualization of legacy storage arrays helped in consolidating the environment and resulted in cost reductions.

By providing reliable and consistent storage integration to our virtualisation enviornment, offloading workload from the VM farm and improving performance.

Hitachi Data Storage features highly flexible and scalable and we are already using for Disaster Recovery i.e. HUR ( Hitachi Universal Replicator) and Shadow or True Copy Purpose and that enables us to have Real time High Availability environment in our server virtualization environment.
